She was a Puerto Rican girl with a Puerto Rican name, that I’d always mispronounce to my ever-lasting shame. Then she’d begin to shout and she’d shake it all about. And we’d forget for a while when she said … Don’t you know a little? Don’t make me upset. Don’t you know a little? Don’t take that drink yet. Don’t you know a little? I like to make the pretty boys sweat. Now you know a little ‘bout me. She took me to meet her moms. She took me to meet her pops. Then she took me in her palms and she urged me not to stop. And I knew it was a test and I tried to do my best. I still don’t know if I passed when she said … Don’t you know a little? Don’t make me upset. Don’t you know a little? Don’t take that drink yet. Don’t you know a little? I like to make the pretty boys sweat. Now you know a little ‘bout me. I know that you have been lonely for a while. But you have to understand there are ways to make me smile. Don’t you know a little? Don’t make me upset. Don’t you know a little? Don’t take that drink yet.

Rock Stars 02:13

They find their way when they lose their spectacles and fear the day they become respectable. RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA Rock Stars. RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA Rock Stars. The Bold and the Beautiful walked into an Irish bar They ordered them some food to go and ate it in their German car The Bold and the Beautiful were simply being beautiful That’s what it takes to be so attractive Give me something to look at Give me something to munch on Give me something to talk about - I’ll talk about it And I won’t have to be so angry no more Give me someone to look at Give me something to punch on Give me someone to talk about - I’ll talk about them And I won’t have to be so angry no more Henry Ford said history’s bunk From Jesus Christ to pop and punk JP Morgan tried to save the country his outrageous spunk I wonder what those dudes would say about the kings that rule today And the profits that they pass off as knowledge Give me something to look at Give me something to munch on Give me something to talk about - I’ll talk about it And I won’t have to be so angry no more Give me someone to look at Give me something to punch on Give me someone to talk about - I’ll talk about them And I won’t have to be so angry no more This is what it takes to make a mistake these days This is what it means when they say we are machines.

Katherine comes like a lady whose waiting too long like the damsel your dreaming upon Katherine comes along Katherine knows You can't a judge a man by his clothes she waits to see the damage he shows Katherine comes along Katherine if you're out there they're calling you by name Katherine if you didn't care they'd love you just the same Katherine grows all around this town like a rose leads the boys around by the nose Katherine comes along Katherine knows You can't judge a prince by his clothes He's much more a poem then prose and Katherine comes along

Early last July was the last time you said goodbye You never said hello again But you came back home again you came back home again Later that September I knew I was in trouble We were still together but I was just a double for him a double for him If you ever been to Brooklyn Heights there is still some space to see the stars at night If you ever trip in Chinatown there is still a chance before you hit the ground I will catch you in his arms I will catch you in his arms Sometime that October I knew that it was over I was tired of playing the fool - but I couldn't fool you That was something I could never do Then it was December and the holidays were on us You'd think we would remember or the calendar would warn us we're through We didn't have a clue If you ever been to Brooklyn Heights there is still some space to see the stars at night If you ever trip in Chinatown there is still a chance before you hit the ground I will catch you in his arms I will catch you in his arms When you kissed me New Years Eve it felt like a reprieve even if it was a lie while the fireworks flew high across the Brooklyn sky

Special 03:13
Tell me about the weather. I heard that it’s rough. Tell me all the reasons you’re addicted to the stuff. Everybody else is going through the same old thing. What makes you so special baby? Everything. Tell me about your childhood and the crap that you went through. Tell me about your neighborhood and the shit you used to do. Tell me how you cut yourself wondering what the pain might bring. What makes you so special baby? Everything. Tell me that you love me and I’ll take you at your word. Tell me all the lies that in this life you heard. We’re really not that different than what the poets sing. What makes you so special baby. Everything.

When I was young boy no older than Tuesday I believed in pure joy yeah I believed in fair play. But everything has changed now. Everything is different. What used to pass for change then lays scattered on the pavement. It wasn’t me paved paradise but I have bought and sold it twice. I never took no ones advice that I couldn’t steal. The music never really died but many a dark night it tried Its hand at committing suicide but now it longs to heal. I remember orchards. I remember green fields. Thinking about that's torture the memory of dark deals. Everything’s gone condo. Everything’s gone Wal-Mart. A gremlin tagged with bondo is what passes now for high art. There’s key chains for sobriety but nothing for society When it decides to cop a plea for its modern crimes. It’s the money it’s the shame. It’s the players it’s the game. Me I tend to lay the blame on gravity and time. Gravity. Gravity. Gravity and Time. I’ll get back to you by sunrise no later than Thursday. When I don’t believe my own lies I wonder what my kids say. Would they send a shiver to a man who can’t be sutured. Who sold them down the river to buy them a better future. I’ve never been to paradise that couldn’t live on beans and rice. Peppered with a little spice and a glass of wine. The music never really died but many a dumb day it liead About its attempt to slow the tide of gravity and time. Gravity. Gravity. Gravity and Time.

The jukebox playing a gypsy song. Her body’s swaying my body’s gone. I’m like a junky on a string It’s a snake and monkey thing The Wrong Place the right time The right face the wrong state of mind It’s a case of luck that I’m in the wrong place at the right time. The wrong place at the right time. One for the money two for the dope. Three for the hanging judge four for the rope. Dead palmettos in the mud. Black stilettos and red red blood. The Wrong Place the right time The right face the wrong state of mind It’s a case of luck that I’m in the wrong place at the right time. The wrong place at the right time. The wrong place the right time The right face the wrong crime It’s a race to make it cross that line This tequila it’s got a sting I lick the lime off her belly ring Too many stories to confirm She got the glory I got the worm The Wrong Place the right time The right face the wrong state of mind It’s a case of luck that I’m in the wrong place at the right time. The wrong place at the right time.

Crazy Girls 03:01
Tell me why we always like the crazy girls. The crazier the better. Tell my why we always like the crazy girls. She told me she was 24. I said I don’t date 24 years olds know more. But she used her mouth and she used her tongue. And I felt so awesome and I felt so young. And I felt so special and I felt so dumb. And I knew the danger had begun. Tell me why we always like the crazy girls. The crazier the better. Tell my why we always like the crazy girls. She told her dog to attack me and she held her hand out and began to smack me. And she took her clothes off and she talked real mean. And she’s used my body like a trampoline. And I felt so sparked and I felt so tweaked. As the room went dark beneath her techniques. Tell me why we always like the crazy girls. The crazier the better. Tell my why we always like the crazy girls. I called her once and I called her again And when she didn’t answer well I knew it then That she was moving on to her latest victim With her crazy thongs and her foreign tickling She’s be talking sweet she’ll be talking nice Then she turn and smile just like Vincent Price And his final thoughts before his world falls down Is his untamed pleasure as her head spins around. Tell me why we always like the crazy girls. The crazier the better. Tell my why we always like the crazy girls. Tell me why we always like the crazy girls. The crazier the better. Tell my why we always like the crazy girls.

Your office space is way too bright buried ‘neath florescent light Your boss he keeps his office dark He smiles and his teeth are sharp Your co-workers they like to say the place has really seen his day Management they don’t agree they scheme and drink what they call tea Oh Transylvania Oh Transylvania Oh Transylvania. The stakes are raised. The receptionist has reappeared with hungry eyes and lipstick smeared The bathroom mirrors don’t reflect the razor cuts of bloody necks The cubicles are bathed in red it’s like you work amongst the dead Beneath the sounds of cell phone rings you detect the fluttering of wings Oh Transylvania Oh Transylvania Oh Transylvania. The stakes are raised. The HR department changed its name to something that resembles pain. You don’t know what you’re gonna do to survive your next review. Something in the world has changed. The politicians get the blame. But working here your not quite sure the bloodline of the world’s still pure. Oh Transylvania Oh Transylvania Oh Transylvania. The stakes are raised. One more time. Oh Transylvania Oh Transylvania Oh Transylvania. The stakes are raised.
